 Our authentic Collectors Edition Indy-style Adventurer jacket is constructed from a very special pre-distressed cowhide. The leather is from the same tannery that supplied the leather to the studio to create the on-screen jackets worn by the star of the newest movie featuring that famous fedora-wearing archaeologist. This leather, which duplicates the look of the movie leather, is a very soft chocolate brown cowhide. It's heavier and a bit darker in color than the leather used in our standard Vintage Cowhide Indy-style Adventurer jacket and features a variety of graining, scuffs, range marks and distressing to give it an authentic "vintage" look. Other features include: two front snap-flapped cargo pockets with side-entry handwarmers, bi-swing back for freedom of movement, adjustable side straps for a custom fit, breathable poly-cotton lining, and an inside pocket. All in all, we feel this is a jacket that any adventure-seeking archaeologist would be proud to wear and one that is truly rugged enough to handle your real-life adventures! A US Wings exclusive. This Indy-style jacket is similar to our standard Vintage Cowhide Indy-style Adventurer jacket, but in kid sizes! Like the adult version, the cowhide leather in our kid-sized version has been pre-distressed for that old & worn look, since no young adventurer would want to be seen in a "new" looking jacket. The jacket also features a bi-swing back for freedom of movement, adjustable side straps, two front cargo pockets with snap flaps* for storing relics, a nylon-acetate lining, and two inside pockets to carry even more gear. We've also added a light layer of polyfil insulation to keep your little adventurer warm when the weather turns chilly. Looks great alone or when coupled with the Kid's Officially Licensed Indiana Jones Fedora, and the classic style of this jacket makes it suitable for both boys or girls. Imported.

The Original! The Perfecto is THE classic (and most widely imitated) motorcycle jacket, first introduced by Schott back in the late 1920s! A favorite of bikers, rock stars, and badasses worldwide, it was also worn by Marlon Brando in the classic 1953 movie The Wild One. A copy of this jacket is also worn by one of the featured characters in the newest Indy movie, but the Perfecto is the original. It's also the real deal: a true motorcycle jacket, constructed from tough & heavyweight cowhide leather, meant to be used as essential riding gear for bikers (it's not merely a "fashion" leather jacket styled to look like a motorcycle jacket).
Features include a naked cowhide leather shell, quilted nylon body lining, bi-swing back, classic style collar & lapel, underarm gussets, plenty of pockets (3 front zippered pockets, 1 snap-flapped change pocket, 1 inside chest pocket, and 1 inside map pouch), belted waist, zippered sleeve cuffs, poly-cotton sleeve lining, and snap-closed epaulets. A bit of fiberfill insulation has been added for warmth and the jacket features heavy duty zippers & snaps throughout, including the snap located on the upper back of the jacket for attaching an optional fur collar (fur collar not included but is available separately below).
This is a beautifully crafted jacket that is surprisingly soft & supple for such a tough piece of riding gear and will make a fine addition to your wardrobe. It's constructed from crushable water repellant wool felt. You can roll it up, fold it, stuff it in your pocket or pack, and it will spring back into shape when you're ready to wear it; just shake it out and put it on! This outback-style fedora features a slightly wider 3" brim with bound edge, and the sides of the brim feature a more pronounced pre-formed upturn (which is characteristic of outback-style hats).
